Adriana Placani is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Philosophy (IFILNOVA), Nova University of Lisbon. Adriana's previous academic appointments include Lecturer and Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Political Philosophy at the University of Graz, Austria; Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS) Nantes; Research Fellow at the Centre for Advanced Studies (CAS) Sofia; and Visiting Scholar at Columbia University Law School.
Adriana's research focuses on ethics, applied ethics, political philosophy, and legal philosophy, with current projects on AI ethics, the ethics of risk, moral responsibility, and climate change ethics.
